What products does KongThai offer?
At present, we offer unique Thai gifts and accessories, including pashmina shawls, Thai silk scarves, Thai silk pillow covers, Thai handbags, Thai spirit houses, Thai candles, handmade table runners, artificial flowers, and bedspreads. We are always looking for unique Thai gifts to offer, so please let us know if there is an item you’d like to see us carry.
Where does KongThai get its products from?
Our sourcing team in Thailand, led by Khun Benjamas, looks for unique, well-made products sold in the markets in Bangkok and throughout Thailand. We do our best to buy as directly as possible from the Thai artisans who make the products by hand, supporting their income and at the same time giving our customers affordable prices. Are all the products at KongThai made from natural materials?
The majority of our products are made with natural, sustainable materials like cotton, Thai silk, pashmina wool, and wood. In addition to using natural fabrics and materials as a base, the colors, dyes, and paints used are generally derived from natural sources, too. Designs and embroidery are hand stitched for a one-of-a-kind uniqueness, which also helps support income for Thai artisans and craftspeople.
How often does KongThai get new merchandise?
At the moment, we don’t have a set schedule – it really depends on the availability of the unique products that meet our high standards. However, we attend major Thai craft and vendor shows all through the year, in Bangkok and throughout Thailand. One of the ways we are able to keep our costs down is through limited inventory, so sometimes we may carry only one item in a certain color, for example. Can I request KongThai to find me a certain product from Thailand?

Standard ground shipping will get your unique Thai gifts to you within 3-6
days, but you can also choose our expedited shipping services, which can
put your order in your hands as soon as the next business day or two. See

Do you offer gift wrapping or gift cards?
If you wish to have a unique Thai product sent to someone as a gift, we can wrap the gift and also include a special message from you. You will see a place in your online order form where you can indicate your message. If you have any questions, please contact us using our help form.

Do you offer a print catalog?
At the moment, all our products are offered online only. This helps us keep our costs down and the trees in the forests. However, in case you should wish to print out specific product information, we have made each page of our site printer friendly. Near the top of the web page, you can see a link that says “Printable version”. Click this to access a page that will use less ink to print.
